to get where you want to go." He is a registered member of the Navajo Nation of New
Mexico. His Navajo name is Dinetsoii' which means Yellowman. He has one brother and
one dog that he saved from the pound. He was  blessed to have known his great
grandparents and he learned their ways. Malachi believes in living a honorable moral life
with a great sense of humor!

MOVIE PROJECTS

RED LINING IT
Malachi was honored to be selected to portray Paul Lujan
an Epileptic college student in
"Red Lining It" directed and
produced by Cameron Martinez, filmed in Santa Fe, New
Mexico. It was a challenging role  about the struggles of
dealing with epilepsy  every moment of the day while trying
to attend college. This role enabled him to grow as an actor.

LONGMIRE
A new TV Series is in the works for A & E, called "Longmire,"
featuring Lou Diamond Phillips. Working on the set in Madrid,
NM was a challenge in the heat but it was wonderful to be on
set with Irene Bedard, Zhane, and Yellowman. "Longmire" is
a series about a sheriff, a community and Natives.

COWBOYS & ALIENS
Harrison Ford, Daniel Craig and David Midthunder star in Cowboys & Aliens a western
Scifi that was filmed in New Mexico. Due to college, Malachi had a small part in this
production. Filming  throughout the night was exciting out in desert and working with a
large cast was fun. It was thrilling knowing that we were all working to bring about
Westerns in the US!

COLLAPSE
Malachi was chosen for the primary role of a pilgrim that experiences Ancient Anasazi
village life. Being chosen to work on a
National Geographic Project was a honor. We
filmed in harsh remote environments, in extreme heat, it was a very physical experience
but well worth it.

BLOOD RED EARTH
Malachi had the privilege to travel to New York to film, "Blood Red Earth," a prequel to
"The Burrowers", by JT Petty. He played the lead roll, "Red Earth," a young Lakota boy
whose brother is killed by a legendary creature. Malachi has always felt like he was born
300 years too late so he had an amazing time filming in the Catskill Mountains and
portraying a young Native warrior living in the 1800's. This opportunity was a dream come
true for him

INTO THE WEST
In 2005 Malachi was picked to play Red Lance in the Mini Series, "Into the West" a TNT,
DreamWorks production by Steven Speilberg. "Into the West" was filmed around Santa
Fe, NM. Malachi attended a casting call with Rene Haynes that was aired on the radio.
Director, Michael Watkins, chose Malachi to play the young Lakota warrior Red Lance in
Episode 4,
"Hell on Wheels." You might remember him as the one who kills the Bugle Boy.
Charlie White Buffalo taught Malachi his lines in Lakota. Cast members included David
Midthunder, Raoul Trujillo, Tatanka Means and Russell Means. This is the film that
captured Malachi's heart because he made lifetime friends that were generous enough to
mentor him.

PERSONAL STATS

Malachi desires to pursue acting and modeling. He has a passion for acting in film and in
the theater. Since the age of 3 years old he has been a Native American ambassador. His
first time on a stage was at the age of 3 when he competed in the Southwestern Indian
Market Clothing Contest SWAIA, in Santa Fe, NM, where he won a first place ribbon. He
feels honored to share his culture and inspire other young people to reach for their
dreams. Malachi is dyslexic so over coming obstacles and pushing forward drives Malachi
to succeed. He desires to travel to Japan to share his culture and learn about the world of
the Samurai. When he is older he also wants to get involved in Tribal government so he
can improve Native American life.
